Hypocrisy definately show they've matured musically, The Fourth Dimension is up there with Amorphis' Tales From the Thousand Lakes, and definately heralds a new renaissance of death metal, which Nuclear Blast seem to have fully within their grasp. What is immediately striking about this new album is how the band has dropped some of their blindingly fast riffs, replaced them with pounding rhythmic power and coupled with this tremendously melodic death metal. It's a stunning album! It oozes class and contains great metal songs from start to finish. Definately a groundbreaker.
